The Lumpawaroo theory
Back in 2015, I learned about a crazy Star Wars theory on Reddit that was posted by
Lumpawaroo. The theory is about how Jar Jar was intended to be the Phantom Menace or Sith Lord but fan rejection of Jar Jar led to George Lucas scrapping this idea and changing the story.
I found this theory very interesting and at the time I was getting into creating bootleg resin action figures. So I was inspired to use this new skill to create a what could have been Darth Jar Jar action figure if George stuck to the original story. I created the initial figure using a method called kit bashing, where you take two different figures, tear them apart, and use pieces from each to create a new figure. After the first figure was created I used resin casting to create multiple copies of it. Each figure is hand painted, glows in the dark,
and the package is made of an up-cycled vinyl.
